INEQUALITY IN THE GOVERNMENT SECTORS OF UGANDA
Many of the high paying jobs in Uganda include being a member o parliament, working in government departments such as revenue, the judiciary sector, banking, intelligence among others but according to my personal research most of these highly paying jobs and departments are occupied by the already rich people and in one way or the other they are related or known to each I one way or the other, the major question that itches every Ugandans head is one. HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN AND WHY ?????????????
This is what I found out first and foremost the job market in Uganda is not based on qualifications like educational levels and experience name it among others but rather majorly based on TECHNICAL KNOW HOW, if one has a parent who is a minister even though she is a p.7 drop out she is entitled to work in the same ministry where the father works and the mother will be the senior advisor and the high school girlfriend being the secretary thus living no space for the qualified persons for those positions to occupy them thus widening the unemployment gap, limiting the rate of economic development of a nation, and making peoples education useless by not putting them to work such people have turned richness into a curse to the less abled who cant afford such positions.
HOW. Remember most of the time the rich don’t want to associate with the poor with an excuse that the poor beg a lot from them and the fact that there rich, if they don’t know any one in the already big posts they use the money they have to befriend and bribe people I the bi offices for jobs this leaves the poor who cant afford to bribe opportunityless and the weak hearted resort to other means of getting what they want such in case of girls they may be sexually exploited to get the desired jobs such situations multiply the problems in the country than what they can solve.
Till we meet again in part 2.
I remain your faithfully
