On a cool Saturday me and a friend called Simon decided to pay avisit to a health centre, we decided to travel to Kabarole distict (Fortportal) we visited BUHINGA REFERAL GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL.

A photo of me taken at Buhinga referal hospital    afriend with whom we visited buhinga hospital

It offers free treatment services to people in the western Uganda, starting from the outside it has nice buildings, some new buildings are under construction and the old ones are under rehabilitation.

As we continued with our journey inside the hospital things drastically changed to worrisome states as many people were lieing in sun shine hungry, others were washing clothes but hanging them again on the ground next to water trenches and rubbish bins.

We proceeded with our way to the children’s ward and tears were almost dripping out of our eyes the young babies inside have different kinds of pain caused by different things such as child abuse, accident patients, abdominal complications and other suffering from mulnutritious diseases Despite of such hurting situations and the nice buildings were different kinds of pain and agony exist the hospital furniture are in very poor states, the hospital beds are very broken and shattered supported by clay stones and wooden angular supports. Its only with combined efforts of all stake holders in the health department to improve health services in Uganda and the whole African continent since were all developing countries
